How does coaching work?
Coaching is a powerful partnership between a coach (me) and a client (you). You choose the areas you want
to be coached in, and I encourage, challenge and work alongside you, to help you achieve the results you want.
Coaching gives you a strong support structure to help you achieve your goals.
Most of us know, at some level, how to achieve what we want in life.
But knowing how isn’t always enough to guarantee that we will get the results we want. What does make a difference is planning and taking action, and most
importantly having someone who holds you accountable. That's where a personal coach comes in.
My role is to ask you what you are willing to do, when you will do it and how you'll get it done. The focus is on challenging and empowering you to come up
with your own answers.
Having a personal coach is like having your very own mentor, manager, personal trainer and sports coach, all rolled into one.
As a coach I am able to give you unbiased feedback and will help you to increase your self-awareness and encourage you to
take responsibility for your life.
Why do people hire a coach?
People come to business and personal coaching for a variety of reasons. Here's what my clients have said they wanted:
Clarity
Help in choosing a new direction
More home/work balance
To be kept on track to achieve goals I've set for myself
Help with priority setting
To stop drifting
To be guided through change and be supported
Shift blocks so I can reach my fullest potential
Get fresh ideas and help with brainstorming
To get over procrastination
Be a role model for my children on taking action.
What happens in a
coaching session?
Each coaching session is for one or two hours, depending on the type of session you choose and follows
a carefully worked out format. Business and personal coaching is action oriented and forward moving. This means you will set specific and inspiring goals and then every session
identify actions to move you towards your goals.
Each session either takes place in person or over the phone.
Is coaching for you?
I am occasionally asked if coaching is the right choice for someone. Anyone can benefit from
coaching but not everyone is ready for coaching. If you are a business owner, ask yourself these questions:
Would I like more clients or more business?
Am I feeling uncertain about my next step?
Do I run out of time, or need more systems in my business?
Would I like someone to bounce ideas off and hold me accountable?
And, if you answer yes to any of these questions and you are willing and committed to making changes, then coaching is right for you!
What will I gain from
coaching?
Whatever place you are at right now, personal coaching will empower you to move forward and
create the life you really want.

to achieve business or personal goals that truly inspire you
- Find the courage to follow your dreams
- Have someone totally on your side who will

can think and act powerfully
